By booking any service with Paws 4 Training, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. A contract is formed upon completion of the booking process.
1-2-1 Training and Workshops
- All dogs must always remain on a lead unless otherwise instructed.
- A minimum distance of 2 metres must be maintained between dogs unless otherwise agreed. Please be mindful that some dogs require space.
- If your dog is unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you accept full responsibility for any associated risks. We do accept titre test results on your vet’s letterhead.
- The use of aversive equipment is NOT permitted in any of our training sessions. This includes, but is not limited to, full-choke chains, half-choke collars, prong collars, shock collars, slip leads, slip collars and anti-bark devices. Headcollars which tighten as the dog or handler pulls are also not permitted.
- If your dog is unwell, please do not attend. This will result in you missing the session, and no refund will be given.
- Bitches in season – please notify us. If we are doing a home visit or a session in an enclosed hired field, the session will still go ahead. If the session was organised to take place at a public venue or if you are attending a group session, attendance will not be permitted.
- You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times, including cleaning up after them and following all instructions given during sessions.
- In signing up for sessions/workshops, you are signing up to agree that your dog is dog-to-dog friendly and friendly with people. Any dogs attending which are found to have issues with other dogs and people may be asked to leave. In this instance, we will endeavour to work with you to find a solution.
- Any aggressive or concerning behaviour must be disclosed prior to attending. Muzzles are welcome where appropriate. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the muzzle is well-fitted and allows adequate panting.
- Paws 4 Training reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any dog or handler from a session where safety, welfare or disruption is a concern. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
- Late arrival may result in a shortened session without a reduction in fee.
- Paws 4 Training reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Under the ‘Control of Dogs Order’ (1992) all dogs must be wearing a suitable flat collar with the
owner’s name and FULL address inscribed either on a plate on the collar or on a tag attached to the collar or harness. This is to be worn at all times in public places. This is the LAW. - Sessions may be shortened or rescheduled due to weather or safety concerns. Where the session can be conducted via video, e.g., Zoom or WhatsApp, it will be offered as an alternative. If you do not wish to attend via these methods, you will lose the session.
Liability
- You are responsible for any damage, injury or loss caused by your dog.
- Paws 4 Training accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage to persons, animals or property, except where caused by proven negligence.
- You are responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by your dog.
- Attendance is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and that of anyone accompanying you.
- We are not responsible for any loss, damage or theft from vehicles or personal property.
- While we hold Public Liability Insurance, it is strongly recommended that your dog is insured. We reserve the right to refuse services to uninsured dogs.
Children
- All children under 18 must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Children must always be supervised and must not distract the puppies or dogs in the session. They may be involved with the training session.
Trainer Availability
- If Naomi of Paws 4 Training is unable to carry out a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, sessions will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Training Methods & Outcomes
- We use behaviour-based training, using rewards and positive reinforcement in all our sessions. Results depend on consistency, handling, environment, and the individual dog.
- No guarantees are made regarding outcomes or timescales.
- By engaging in training, you agree to follow guidance and instructions given to ensure safety and progress.
Fees:
1-2-1 Training Services & Workshops – Payments & Cancellations
- All services must be paid in full upfront or via an agreed payment plan.
- By entering a payment plan, you agree to complete all payments until the full balance has been received; any training will not commence until payment has been received in full.
- Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations within 72 hours will result in the session being forfeited.
- All services must be used within the timeframe specified below. Any unused sessions will be forfeited.
- No refunds will be given for partially used services or changes in personal circumstances.
Cooling-Off Period
- In line with UK consumer law, a 14-day cooling-off period applies to all bookings.
- If you cancel within this period and have not used the service, a refund will be issued minus a £35 administration fee.
- If any part of the service has been used, the right to cancel is waived.
Training Programme Timescales
- For our training programmes, each session will be for 1 hour unless this has been discussed and a different duration is agreed.
- The sessions must be used up within the timescales as set out below:
- 4 sessions – must be used within 6 weeks from when the first session has been booked.
- 5 & 6 sessions – must be used within 12 weeks from when the first session has been booked.
Course Material and Equipment:
- Paws 4 Training reserves the right to change the course content, timing, dates, venue or instructor. We try to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes this is unavoidable.
- Paws 4 Training will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations.

A trainer or representative of the company is not necessarily your trainer unless you have entered into a working agreement with the company by signing up for paid services. You follow the video or free content/instructions at your own risk, agreeing that you use the information at your own risk.

The company will not be liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the information given by the Service or for any consequential, special or similar damages even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Release of Liability and Photography Release Waiver:
I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING AND/OR VOLUNTEERING IN THIS ANIMAL TRAINING SESSION, including, by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.
I understand that attending a dog training session poses a risk to me, guests, children, and my dog.
I understand that if I have brought children along for the session, I am solely responsible for them.
I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organisers of the activity or event in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity or event. In consideration of my application, and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, death of my pet, injury to my pet, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my travelling to and from this event.
I understand I enter land or property intended for activity use at my own risk. THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: NAOMI FARROW, PAWS 4 TRAINING, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, the activity or event holders, activity or event sponsors, activity or event volunteers; land owners; land representatives; land leaseholders or their representatives.
I HAVE DISCLOSED all relevant information regarding my dog, its sensitivities, any aggression problems, and situations that provoke my dog. I will immediately inform the trainer if any situation arises that provokes my dog, and I will take full responsibility for avoiding such situations.
I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity or event, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise. I acknowledge that NAOMI FARROW, PAWS 4 TRAINING and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity.
I understand they are not responsible for the quality of land or any injuries which may occur when I am attending at a venue.
Photography and Media
- I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed and/or I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organisers, and assigns.
- I hereby waive any right toinspect or approve the use of the images or recordings or of any written copy. I further waive all moral rights. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials.
- I hereby release, defend, indemnify and holdharmless the producers from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution The accident waiver and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
- You will always be asked in person for your permission fr any photographs or videos to be taken whilst attending training sessions / 1-2-1s / workshops/seminars and for their use on social media or our website.
- Should you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please advise NAOMI FARROW of PAWS 4 TRAINING in person.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT.
I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
I am 18 years of age or older and competent to contract in my own name. I have read this document before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this consent, waiver, indemnity and release.
This consent, waiver, indemnity and release are binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
