Our Methds: Paws 4 Training only use reward-based methods in our training, and we DO Not allow punishment for any unwanted behaviour within our training sessions and will help and advise you on the best ways to prevent these behaviours from happening. Punishment includes shouting, using a raised voice, hitting, pushing on your dog to get them into position and yanking your dog to get its attention. Your dog is trying to communicate with you that they are uncomfortable.
Your Dogs Behaviour: If your dog brings harm to another person/dog or damages property, the owner is liable for the offence made.
Under the ‘Control of Dogs Order’ (1992) all dogs must be wearing a suitable flat collar with the owner’s name and FULL address inscribed either on a plate on the collar or on a tag attached to the collar or harness. This is to be always worn in public places. This is the LAW.

Please ensure you clean up after your dog and take all dog waste home with you. We do not have the facilities to dispose of dog waste at our training centre.
In signing up for classes/workshops you are signing up to agree that your dog is dog-to-dog friendly and friendly with people. Any dogs attending which are found to have issues with other dogs and people may be asked to leave. In this instance, we will endeavour to work with you to find a solution.
Paws 4 Training reserves the right to ask owners to leave and take their dogs home should the dog’s welfare be compromised.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the premises, this includes the car park, in your car, training paddock, the yard, fields and inside the training centre. Anyone who is caught smoking on the premises will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

If your dog is unwell: Please do not bring dogs with potentially contagious illnesses to classes. This includes but is not limited to, sickness and diarrhoea, eye infections and kennel cough.
Bitches in season: Please do not attend training with your bitch if she is in season for 4 weeks from when her season has started.
