Naomi has obtained her qualification as an Elite Talking Dogs Scentwork® Trainer.
Talking Dogs Scentwork® is a supportive scent training programme that is inclusive for all dogs, regardless of breed.
We can also work with dogs with disabilities, including those that are blind, deaf, or have mobility issues.
We use active indications, which means your dog can eat their “find” instantly or play with their toy as soon as they find it. No training is required for the active indication. You will instantly know that your dog has found its “hide”.
Our 1-2-1 Scent Training sessions are suitable for puppies from 12 weeks of age and dogs of any age.
Scent Training Workshops
Are you a club looking for a fun activity to do with your dogs?
You don’t need to be a dog training club. We are happy to work with anyone who has a passion to teach their dogs a new skill.
We are happy to come to your premises to offer this training.
Your dog will be trained to search for the scent of cheese or catnip-infused small toys. Most dogs will search for cheese, which means the reward is instant. For dogs who prefer to search for food, those who may be lactose intolerant can search for dog pate.
Once you have completed your level 1 workshop, you can progress through all the levels. The other levels focus on handling skills and searching through different articles. It is a fun activity, and the dogs find it rewarding. It is ideal for low-impact activity, making it suitable for all dogs and handlers.

1-2-1 Scent Training
Our 1-2-1 scent training can take place in the comfort of your own home or garden.
We mainly use cardboard boxes for the dogs to search, so if you have a stash of these in your garage, don’t get rid of them! From tiny boxes – tablet boxes up to large shoe box size are ideal! Keep those envelopes too! All of these are ideal for dogs to search
We have availability during the day in term times and on Saturdays.
Sessions will be booked by the hour.
