Having an excellent recall is something that a lot of new dog owners struggle to achieve.

Many owners delay letting their puppy off lead when they are young as they are fearful they wont be able to get them back on lead.

By teaching a recall early on it will help to reinforce the behaviour you want before unwanted behaviours are established.

Positive reinforcement is absolutely essential.

During this workshop we will teach you the essential skills to achieve a great recall with your puppy or dog.

This workshop can be repeated and will be adapted to your individual requirements to ensure you get the most out of the session.

What you and your dog will learn:

Level 1

  1. Motivation – understanding the value of your training treats and how you can motivate your dog to come back to you every time.
  2. Toys – how they can be used for recall
  3. The benefits of whistle training
  4. Putting your dog back on their lead

Our Techniques

Using positive reinforcement including clicker training, food and toy motivation we will work with you to ensure that you can work towards getting a reliable recall with your puppy or dog.
