Reliable Recall Course
This 3 week course will help you to teach your puppy or dog to have a reliable recall so you can enjoy hours of off lead walking safely.
If you are uncertain about letting your puppy or dog off lead, this training course will help you to have the confidence at achieving recall with your dog so you can let them off lead on your walks.
Off lead time for dogs is so important both physically and mentally. There is nothing better than being out for a nice walk with your dog and watching them run towards you.
Recall training can start from when the pups are very young, when they are with the breeder. Our puppies naturally start to come to us for affection, attention and food. People tend to forget this and don’t carry on the simple training that will help to shape a great recall.
All dogs attending these sessions must be friendly with dogs and people and are able to cope in a class setting.
What you and your dog will learn:
- The value of rewards
- Which rewards to use and when
- Collar grab so your puppy or dog wont dodge it
- Games and tricks to encourage your puppy or dog to come close and stay close
- Recall words
- Responding to the whistle
- Teach natural check-ins
- Emergency recall
All of our training is based on positive reward and clicker training.
We will use these techniques whilst under distraction and also use luring and free-shaping to help you achieve the above behaviours with your dog.

Our training is based around using plenty of rewards. This includes treats, toys, praise and the environment.
