Proprioception Training
Proprioception training is closely linked to agility. However, it is a great activity to do with all puppies and dogs.
The movements are slow and steady and helps your dog to think more about their body.
In agility if we work on a dog’s proprioception training it can prevent them knocking poles and potentially injuring themselves.
For puppies and adolescent dogs it is great for their bodies and minds. It slows them down with their movements, builds their strength and their confidence working on different surfaces.
As we work the dogs on both sides this helps with balanced muscle tone.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is looking for a different activity to do with their dog that will work both their mind and body.
The slower pace helps to build focus and calm around equipment.
These sessions are suitable for puppies from 12 weeks of age and any age dog.
