Ts & Cs.

Dogs: You are responsible for the conduct of your own dog during our classes and workshops at all times.

Please be aware of other dogs and do not allow your dog to approach prior to asking the dogs owner; some dogs may be uncomfortable around other dogs or people and require a little extra space.

DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES whilst on the premises inside and out unless instructed otherwise by one of the Paws 4 Training instructors. THIS INCLUDES ON THE GRASS AREAS, CAR PARK AND SIDES OF THE FIELD.

You may walk your dog on the grass area near the car park but please be advised we are not made aware when the farmer has sprayed crops with pesticides so would strongly advise you not to walk on the field at any time.

Please ensure you clean up after your dog and take all dog waste home with you. We do not have the facilities to dispose of dog waste at our training centre.

Paws 4 Training only use reward based methods in our training and we DO Not allow punishment for any unwanted behaviour within our training sessions and will help and advise you on the best ways to prevent these behaviours from happening. Punishment includes shouting, using a raised voice, hitting and yanking your dog to get their attention. Your dog is trying to communicate with you that they are uncomfortable.

If a dog is unable to cope in a class environment we will discuss your options with you and recommend a suitable behaviourist that you can work with to overcome your dog’s problems.

When you arrive at the training centre for your first lesson we ask for all dogs to be left safe in a ventilated car. There isn’t much shade in the car park for any sessions during the day or early evening in the summer so please ensure you are equipped with shades for your car to ensure they are kept cool in the warmer weather, we can provide you with water should you need it.

Paws 4 Training reserves the right to ask owners to leave and take their dogs home should the dog’s welfare be compromised.

Fees: Payment of the course fees will secure a place on a course. We are unable to hold spaces open without payment. Payment must be received prior to you starting the course unless this is a last minute booking (i.e. booked the day before the course starts or on the first day of the course) Any late fees including on the day the course starts or after the start of the course will incur a 10% late fee.

Vaccinations: Whilst we request that all puppies and dogs attending classes are fully vaccinated, it is your decision to choose whether or not to re-vaccinate annually. Should you decide not to re-vaccinate your dog annually Paws 4 Training is not liable for any illnesses your dog may contract whilst training at our training centre.
